2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum amount of personal data needed to provide and improve CalcStack:

  • Account information — if you purchase a premium feature via Stripe, we receive your email address to verify access.
  • Usage data — pages visited, calculators used, browser type, device type, IP address (anonymised where possible).
  • Payment data — if you purchase a premium feature, Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card number.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain and improve CalcStack's tools.
  • To authenticate your account and deliver premium features you have purchased.
  • To display relevant advertisements via Google AdSense (only with your consent).
  • To understand how visitors use the site so we can make it better.

  • To comply with legal obligations, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Contract — processing necessary to provide the services you have signed up for.

Our primary infrastructure is hosted in the UK (AWS eu-west-2). Some third-party services (Stripe, Google) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or UK adequacy decisions.

9. Children's privacy

CalcStack is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. ICO registration

Flavoureak UK Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the site. Continued use of CalcStack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
